Homework Policy.
It is expected all subjects will set homework.
Homework is intended to extend the students and allow the staff to deliver a greater range of experiences to the students.
Homework will be listed on the homework white board.
It is the class captains duty to ensure the homework board is filled out.
Procedure.
The homework board is for teachers and students to see what homework is due. Teachers can get an idea if the students have too much work to get done in the time.
It is a good idea to direct the student to fill the board out. Like teenagers everywhere they will forget (sometimes on purpose)
Homework is a good method of getting a unit of work completed. Some of the faster students may get all work completed in class time and the slower students can finish work for homework.
When homework is not completed the supervisiing teacher should be notified immediately.
