Mobile Phones Policy

Mobile phones to be used at the teachers discretion.

As these are used in the same context as computers the same rules apply including those of good manners.

Procedure.

When used for games or making phone calls in class time, they can be taken and given to a Thai staff member.

Most of the students use their smart phones as a scientific calculator, a dictionary and a translator.

Some use their smart phone for doing online quizzes and other internet research.

Do not confiscate a phone overnight unless it is given to the EP director with an explanation. If the phone goes missing the staff who confiscated the phone is responsible for its replacement.

Collecting phones can be done in several ways. I like to take a special box into the class and select a responsible student and give them the box with the words please collect.
