    Planning Policy

Staff will be given adequate time for planning and Preparation.

Staff will enter the class room with adequate preparation to maximise the students learning.

Where possible planning will contain activities which foster critical thinking and show evidence of understanding.

Text books and computers will be made use of in the classroom.

    Procedure.

Lessons for planning will be spread through the week with planning time from 8-00 am to 8-30 most days and from 3-00 pm to 4-00 pm most days.

Due to the language issues making it difficult for understanding and slower for learning to take place, the teaching contact time is less than in many schools.

Text books are expensive and should be seen to be used, as are computers.

Time will need to be devoted to creating some good unit plans as these are audited by government auditors at different times. (A requirement of an English Program is to have their curriculum audited).
